Merits Partnership is a client-focused, boutique consultancy firm providing social science research and monitoring and evaluation expertise related to development and humanitarian contexts, with particular expertise related to migration, protection, human rights and gender equality as well as strategic planning, advocacy, policy analysis and institutional strengthening.
We work directly with our clients, listening, proposing and getting to the core of each project to ensure superior results. Our practice is rooted in political science, built upon methodological rigour, and informed by the latest literatures as well as over 35 years of combined experience so as to produce clear, insightful and actionable analysis.

OUR TEAM
We have developed a close and collaborative working style over the course of our many shared projects since first meeting during graduate school at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Our approach is rooted in our shared values and commitments. This in turn helps us to push ourselves and each other to achieve consistently superior results for our clients, even when working on highly demanding assignments in some of the most difficult locations. The external experts that we bring in for larger projects are carefully chosen from our network of long-time collaborators, people that we can trust to help us to produce the high quality deliverables that our clients expect.
